WIFI Network and Mesh Technology

Within the range of a wireless network , a Wi-Fi enabled device such as a PC, cell phone, or PDA can connect to the  backbone main network. The coverage of one or more interconnected WIFI access points can comprise an area as small as a single room or as large as many square miles.

WiFI and Mesh technology are the solution in particular situations where some mobile peripheral devices have to connect to the network, sending and receiving data. The purpose of Wi-Fi is to hide complexity by enabling wireless access to applications and data, media and streams. The main aims of Wi-Fi are:
  • facilitate access to information
  • ensure compatibility and coexistence
  • eliminate cabling and wiring
  • eliminate switches, adapters, plugs and connectors.
Mesh networking is a way to route data, voice and instructions between nodes. It allows continuous connections and reconfigurations around broken or blocked paths, “hopping” from node to node until the destination is reached, making the network very resistant.
